China Sandwich Roof Panel with PIR / PUR Foam Core Factory, Factories

Sandwich roof panels have become a leading solution in the construction industry, especially commercial and industrial buildings. The sandwich roof panels are designed to provide excellent insulation, structural integrity, and aesthetics, making them ideal for a variety of roofing applications.

Sandwich roof panels consist of a core made of PIR (polyisocyanurate) or PUR (polyurethane)  foam, sandwiched between two outer layers, usually made from sheet metal such as galvanized steel or aluminum. Panels are available in a range of thicknesses, typically ranging from 30mm to 200mm, depending on specific insulation requirements and building regulations.

Products Description

Our PIR or PUR Sandwich Roof Panel with the features of high thermal insulation value, lightweight, moisture resistant, durability, energy efficiency, versatility and easy installation, sandwich roof panel become a popular solution. PIR or PUR Sandwich roof panels are used in a wide variety of applications including industrial buildings, commercial buildings, agricultural structures as well as cold storage facilities.

Product Details

Our PIR/PUR roof panels adopt a three-wave crest design with a crest height of 36mm, which greatly improves the roof drainage effect and load-bearing capacity. It can effectively reduce construction costs while ensuring the thermal insulation effect of the building. The roof slope can be low as 3%. With exposed nail design, the nail fixing space is adjustable from 250mm to 1000mm.

Advantages of PIR/PUR Panels

  • High thermal insulation: Low thermal conductivity (0.022-0.025 W/m·K) ensures maximum energy efficiency.
  • Lightweight: Reduces structural load and simplifies installation.
  • Moisture Resistant: Closed-cell structure prevents water absorption and mold.
  • Durability: Resistant to chemicals, UV radiation, and physical impacts.
PUR/PIR sandwich roofing panels are an essential cornerstone of contemporary roofing solutions, optimizing operating costs and minimizing environmental impact for industrial and commercial facilities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What is the difference between PIR and PUR core materials?
PIR (Polyisocyanurate) generally offers better fire resistance (B1 rating) compared to PUR (Polyurethane), though both provide excellent thermal insulation.
Q2: What is the minimum roof slope required for these panels?
The three-wave crest design allows for efficient drainage even on low-slope roofs, with a minimum slope requirement as low as 3%.
Q3: Are the surface colors and materials customizable?
Yes, we offer multiple surface materials including PPGI, Stainless Steel (SUS304/201), and Embossed Aluminum, with a wide range of customizable colors.
Q4: How do these panels perform in cold storage environments?
With a thermal conductivity as low as 0.022 W/m·K and moisture-resistant closed-cell foam, they are ideal for maintaining strict temperature controls in cold storage.
Q5: What is the benefit of the three-wave crest design?
The 36mm crest height significantly enhances the load-bearing capacity of the roof and ensures rapid water drainage during heavy rain.
Q6: What types of extra coatings are available for the steel surface?
Common advanced coatings include PVDF for UV resistance, HDP for high durability and scratch resistance, and EP for chemical and moisture resistance.
